Our REAL LIFE Story
When I dropped my daughter off at college, I thought Iโd prepared for everything… until reality set in.
My daughter was eager for independence and ready to begin her next chapter. So I poured my love into the one thing I could control: designing her dorm to feel like a real home. But even that proved harder than I expected.
The college provided only vague details, store shelves were picked over, and Move-In Day was pure chaos.
Rooted in my desire to support young adults through one of lifeโs most pivotal transitions, I started Real Life Co. to curate thoughtful dorm rooms, first apartment setups, and everyday essentials that blend functionality with beauty. With tools like our Wishlist and thoughtfully designed gift guides, the platform serves both students and the families who love them, offering guidance, comfort, and a little aesthetic joy along the way.
